Dear Parents and Guardians

Welcome back to Term Two everyone. I would like to thank all the parents who attended parent teacher interviews recently. It was a great opportunity to discuss your child’s progress thus far.

The students have made a great start to this term, as they have been very busy with learning extended concepts related to addition, subtraction and money problems. They have also been busy with focusing on the writing genre related to exposition writing. In Integrated studies they are exploring Australian History and Geography this term. We have started to look at Indigenous Australians and gained insight into their art and culture. We will also explore famous Melbourne landmarks with our visit to Eureka towers that is coming up soon. (Excursion; Thursday the 18th of May.)

Reminders: Students will be attending Camp on Monday the 22nd of May. They will be visiting Sovereign Hill for an overnight camp in Week 6. Notices regarding the camp have been given to students. If you have any concerns regarding the camp please don’t hesitate to contact me.
